UN Climate Conference COP30 in Belém, Brazil

Climate action has an essential role to play in preventing many crises. Climate measures also offer enormous potential for growth. International climate action is one of the German government's top priorities.

The Federal Environment Ministry is spearheading the negotiations on behalf of Germany at the UN Climate Change Conference. Brazil is hosting the 30th Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC in Belém from 10 to 21 November 2025. Federal Environment Minister Carsten Schneider and State Secretary Jochen Flasbarth will be on site with the German delegation.
