The 12^th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the CBD is being held from 6 to 17 October in Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea. The meeting plays a key role in achieving the goal that was agreed on internationally in 2010 of stopping the loss of biodiversity by 2020.
