With this environmental statement, the Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMUKN) is presenting its 19th report on the ministry's environmental performance in accordance with EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme). This is an updated version based on the comprehensive environmental statement 2024 (consolidated version), which marked the start of a new three-year cycle.
This environmental statement gives you an insight into the activities of a federal ministry and at the same time enables you to gain an overview of our internal measures to protect the environment. The Federal Ministry for the Environment is responsible within the Federal Government for all environmental protection issues and therefore also for the implementation of the EC Regulation on the European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) in Germany.
